sometimes we are just like this picture. looking for something that is already and always there… searching for something that is already and always there… allowing the things of the world to cloud our mind, and missing the whole point of being in God’s presence. a little hint would help, but it is a choice that we enter God’s presence. it just takes us to be still and know that He is there above everything else.

3 things I gathered about the presence of God which many of us miss, and even forget at times. It is either we are just plain ignorant, or it cames too readily that we take it for granted.

God’s presence is omni-present. Nothing escapes His eyes, nothing surprises Him. This also means, I am never alone… cos God is everywhere. Even though at times i may feel “alone” physically, but i never am. God is with me no matter where life may take me. The omni-presence of God is my security.

God’s presence is indewelling in me! He lives in me! Without Him, I am nothing and I must depend on Him daily in every circumstance. He resides in me every minute, every moment. He knows my deepest thoughts and struggles, He knows my happiness, He knows everything that has got to do with me.

The manifest presence of God empowers me! He gives me strength to do His work, He gives me wisdom to make decisions, He gives me courage to face the most challenging times.

I just took a step back to think.. and i realise that it happens in me! just that at times, I allow my thoughts to overpower me and forget about God. So it just takes a moment of stillness to know that He is God and no amount of thoughts/feelings/emotions will change that. Only God can change any circumstance, only God can deliver and empower. Thinking doesnt help… being still in His presence does!

I can live without His blessings, but never without seeking His presence.
