“just wanna share what hit me when Pastor Eugene Seow preached the sermon for this week. 1 of the things he said was tt we are to DECLARE WAR WITH OUR GRUMBLING SPIRIT. Many times in life, we grumble so much.. So much so that we sometimes forget to see e blessings God gave us. We may grumble why we have to wait so long in a queue, or squeezing in e mrt cabin full of people but we forget to see e fact that even e  breathe we take every second, is a blessing from Him.
To fight e grumbling spirit, we have to have a thankful heart. I have been learning to give tks to God even in the most negative situation. Philippians 4:8 says that if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things. If you dont train your heart to be thankful, nothing will ever satisfy you. May we all cast the grumbling spirit out of us!
Since its vday tmr, just wanna have the ‘courage’ to say that i really love each and everyone of you! Omg! So paiseh!*shyshy* Hahaha! Have a good night rest n cast tt grumbling spirit out of you! Woo to the hoo! nighty night!”
Wanping, I just wanna say that I am super thankful for you. Knowing you since NDP10 till now, I have really seen you grown in the Lord. Though it has only been 6months since you knew the Lord, you have been so encouraging and i am really encouraged seeing you grow so much in God. May you continue to listen for the voice of God in your life, and live your life not based on your own thoughts or emotions… but based on biblical truths! i love you! :)
“Every time you cross my mind, I break out in exclamations of thanks to God. Each exclamation is a trigger to prayer. I find myself praying for you with a glad heart. I am so pleased that you have continued on in this with us, believing and proclaiming God’s Message, from the day you heard it right up to the present. There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears.” - Philippains 1:3-6
